Description:

AR329 – block off plate for the blower motor on 1964-72 A-body cars.  The heater blower motor is often removed on A-body car when installing a big-block or Hemi engine.  This 14 ga aluminum plate is designed to bolt into the existing holes in the firewall to cover the hole left when removing the blower motor.  AR329 plate includes pressed in studs and comes with the correct gasket from Detroit Muscle Technologies.

Center cap, Bullit wheel

Description:

AR167 – Billet aluminum center cap for the M-1007-J178 Mustang Bullit wheel.  These caps are necessary when using the 13 inch brake kits since the Mopar dust cap is too large to fit inside the plastic center cap in the wheels.  These caps are also a great way to dress up the Mustang rims and get rid of the Ford pony logo which comes on the center caps.  The AR167 caps are a press on design and are retained by an o-ring.  For high speed use we recommend using some RTV to glue the center caps to the rims. AR167 consists of one cap.

Plug, dipstick

Description:

AR279 – Dipstick plug.  Reproduction of the plug used on big block truck engines when the dipstick was relocated to the oil pan.  This plug is also handy for dry sump engines, or engines where the dipstick is relocated to another location.  Plug is made from aluminum and is a press fit into the existing hole.  If necessary, ream the dipstick hole in the block with a 0.368 diameter drill (standard U size drill).

Description:

Cam button assembly.  Kit includes a two piece cam button complete with a Torrington bearing assembly.  The AR281 cam button is designed to fit a Cloyes Hex-a-just timing chain and the AR224 billet timing chain cover.  Button has an overall length of 0.645.  Outer diameter of the button is 0.749 inches and it should be a light tap fit into any of the standard 3 bolt timing chain sprockets.  The AR224 billet timing chain cover comes with an access plate which lets the engine builder measure camshaft endplay directly.

BB Timing Chain Cover

Description:

Billet timing chain cover with a removable center.  The removable center allows a person to inspect the cam drive and adjust it if they are using an adjustable top gear.  If the Cloyes Hex-A-Just 9-3125A timing set is used, then the cam timing can be adjusted with the timing cover installed. The center plate is sealed with double o-rings for leak free operation and it is rigid enough to control camshaft endplay. O-rings are standard Parker 2-041 and 2-044 size for easy replacement.  The front of the cover is machined to accept a stock oil seal as well as the stock oil slinger.  An adjustable TDC pointer is included.  This cover fits under aluminum water pump housings without the need for any spacers and will work with an electric water pump.  The ATI damper 917122E will clear this cover as will OEM dampers and the standard dampers from BHJ and Fluidampr. The oil seal installs from the front and can be replaced without removing the timing cover from the engine.  These billet covers work with the AR281 cam button, the AR206 crank trigger bracket, the AR207 alternator bracket kit, and it fits all of the AR Engineering motor plates.

Distributor plug, B engine

AR213 – Dust cap installer tool is used to install the dust caps on the front hubs of later model rear wheel drive Mopar vehicles.  This tool is designed to fit dust cap #3580894 which fits all the 1973 or newer model A,B and E body cars.  The 3580894 dust cap fits the 1973 or newer disc brake knuckle which is very popular to retrofit to earlier vehicles.  Without this tool the dust cap is often dinged or smashed during installation.  This tool fits on the reinforced edge of the dust cap and allows a person to strike the dust cap squarely with a hammer without causing any damage.

AR140 is a 3/8 thick spacer for the crankshaft pulley on any Mopar V-8 engine.  This spacer is designed to move the crankshaft pulley outwards by 3/8 of an inch so the water pump will properly line up after installing a motor plate.  Pully spacer uses a universal 6 bolt mounting pattern to fit both early and later model engines.  Fits any big-block and Hemi engine.  AR140 is machined on both sides with ID and OD locating features to keep the crankshaft pulley concentric to the damper.

Water pump spacer

AR112 is an 0.060 inch thick spacer designed to correct minor spacing issues with the water pump pulley.  Manufacturing variances in gasket thickness, pulley depth and water pump depth can all add up to a misaligned pulley.  These spacers can be used to move the pulley outwards as needed.

Part number AR107 is a pair of hanger reinforcement plates for B-body and C-body cars.  These reinforcement plates mount on the inside of the hanger box area to add stiffness to this critical part of the chassis.  Similiar to the hanger reinforcement plates used by the factory on Hemi cars.

The AR107 plates can also be used to adjust the axle thrust angle.  Simply place a spacer between the spring hanger and the chassis to move the axle housing back on that side of the vehicle.  This can be used to move the axle housing into proper alignment, or it can be used to create additional rear steer for circle track applications.
